Take I-5 North to Pacheco Pass (State Hwy. 29?). Travel over Pacheco Pass to Highway 101. Take 101 all the way north; past San Jose, past Mountain View & Redwood City, past South San Francisco until you reach the I-280/I-80/101 cluster-fuck. Take I-80 north, across the Bay Bridge all the way past Rodeo to Vallejo. Exit I-80 at Georgia Street/West. Take Georgia all the way to Marin Street. Turn right and, one block later, take a left on Virginia Street.  Look for parking. We're right there at 437 Virginia Street.

Las Vegas, Europe

Take I-80 heading west, all the way to the California border and about 2 hours beyond. The signs will all be pointing to San Francisco but that's okay, we're on the way to SF if you're headed west. Exit I-80 at Georgia Street/West. Take Georgia all the way to Marin Street. Turn right and, one block later, take a left on Virginia Street.  Look for parking. We're right there at 437 Virginia Street.

Marin, San Quentin, Santa Maria, Hawaiian Islands

Take the Richmond bridge across the bay, heading east. You will come to I-80 shortly. Get onto I-80/East (you'll actually be heading North.) Exit I-80 at Georgia Street/West. Take Georgia all the way to Marin Street. Turn right and, one block later, take a left on Virginia Street.  Look for parking. We're right there at 437 Virginia Street.

The ferries pretty much only come from one direction: west. If you find yourself on a ferry to the north or to the east of us, drink lots of water and sleep it off. (You're tripping!) The bay unfolds south/west of Vallejo. Ferries to Vallejo leave from the SF Ferry Building regularly. They arrive at the Vallejo Ferry Building approximately 45-50 minutes later.

From the Vallejo Ferry Building, walk up Georgia Street for three blocks to Santa Clara St. Turn left and walk another block to Virginia Street. Turn right; we're ½ a block down, on the right.  [TOTAL COST: Ferry Passage to Vallejo is $10.00.]

NOTE: The last Ferry leaves Vallejo at 6:35pm. Thereafter, comfortable buses depart from the front of the Ferry Building at 7:30pm, 8:30pm and 9:30pm. The cost is also $10.00 and the trip takes only 30-35 minutes with no traffic. After 9:30pm, you must take the #80/BART bus to the Corte Madera BART station and ride BART from there. BART stops running at 12:00 midnight on weekdays and around 1:00am on weekends. Since Corte Madera is towards the end of a line, don't count on trains any later than a ½ hr. before the system closes (11:30pm on weekdays, 12:30am on weekends.)

Take BART to the El Cerrito del Norte station. This is towards the end of the Richmond line, depicted as the yellow line on the BART system map. From the Corte Madera station, take bus #80/Vallejo to the Vallejo Ferry Building stop.

From the Vallejo Ferry Building, walk up Georgia Street for three blocks to Santa Clara St. Turn left and walk another block to Virginia Street. Turn right; we're ½ a block down, on the right at 437 Virginia Street.  [TOTAL COST: Vallejo #80 bus is $2.50 from El Cerrito del Norte Station. BART ticket cost will depend on where you board. From the city, it's $5.40 to Corte Madera, for a total cost of $7.90]

NOTE: The BART system stops running at midnight on weekdays and around 1:00am on the weekends. El Cerrito del Norte is near the end of a line so don't count on trains any later than a ½ hr. before the system closes (11:30pm on weekdays, 12:30am on weekends.)
